Payment Gateways & Shopping Carts

Merchants selling products online need an E-Commerce Merchant Account to process credit card transactions from theirr website. Customers can use a Buy-It-Now button taking them to a payment platform to check-out or you can add a complete shopping cart allowing customers to add multiple products into the shopping cart, before check-out. Buy-It-Now would be the simplest check-out.

Shopping carts can very in scope with many different options. We offer a free shopping cart with simple instalation and can be upgraded with options as needed. The problem with connecting your shopping cart with your merchant account, is that not all shopping carts are compatable with the different payment gateways offered today.

Payment Gateways are the secure connection between your ecommerce merchant account and your shopping cart. This is where your customers credit card data is securely transmitted to your merchant account from your website. We offer multple gateway platforms, such as Authorize.Net Gateway, Eprocessing Network’s Gateway, and the LinkPoint Gateway. These are the major gateways and your shopping cart should be compatible with at least one of these secure payment gateways.

Merchant account approval is necessary processing your customers credit card transaction. The data is transmitted via secure payment gateway, from your shopping cart or buy-it-now button, to your merchant account. Merchant account approval’s can also vary from different providers, as ecommerce transcations are of “Higher Risk”, than a brick and morter transaction.

We specialize in E-Commerce Merchant Accounts and also can approve some High Risk Merchant Accounts, as well. We also do alot of High Volume Merchant Accounts, as well. If your website is new with very little traffic and sales you may want to consider Google Checkout, as an alternative untill your website begans to be profitable. Google Checkout offers a simple solution and is affordable. If you advertise with Google Adwords, they even offer you a discount on credit card processing with Google Checkout. A simple solution for new websites.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me for advise with E-Commerce Payments.

Accepting Food Stamps

EBT | Electronic Benefit Transfer

Accepting food stamps at your business can increase your sales, by openning the door to people that receive government benefits. Food stamps (EBT) can be accepted at any grocery store or convenience store that is approved by the US Department of Agriculture with a Food Stamp Permit. Vist the USDA’s website for qualifications and a application.

Once approved by the USDA, you will be issued a terminal identification number which will be used to identify your business in the transaction process. You will also need a Pin-Pad, for the customer to enter their EBT Number. The transaction is processed just like a debit-card transaction with the sale amount being debted from their balance.

Best of all these transactions are much cheaper that accepting credit cards, with a low transaction fee and no discount rate percentage being charged to the merchant. Most any terminal could be programmed to accept food stamps (EBT), including the Nurit 2085 which seems to be the most popular equipment for EBT Transactions.

Increase customer loyalty and repeat business by welcoming EBT Food Stamps !!! Perfect choice with your new merchant account.

Feel free to give me a call to discuss your Electronic Benefit Transfer needs.

Check Processing

ELECTRONIC CHECK CONVERSION

Accepting payments at the point-of-sale is not simply credit card processing anymore. Electronic check conversion is swiping the nation, by allowing merchants to accept checks and convert them into electronic deposits, at the point-of-sale. Many merchant account providers fail to offer these new technologies and only focus on the ability to accept credit cards.

Imagine welcoming your customers check without the risk of losing your shirt in the transaction. Electronic check conversion will allow you to “Scan” the papercheck and convert it into an electronic deposit, right at your counter. Check info is passed electronically and you are prompted to “Accept” or “Decline”. Customers check is then stamped void and returned to the customer. Your funds are deposited electronically into your business account. It’s that simple.

Our affordable solution will allow you process checks in 48 hours. Call us today to discuss your needs.

Gift Card Profits !!!!

Gift Card Program
Selling Gift Cards = Profits

Selling gift cards can increase your bottom line by, adding new customers, putting advance cash into your business, and profiting from un-redeemed values. Lets take a look at each, strating with new customers. Gift card purchasers must think highly of your products or services to consider giving them as a gift. This is kind of like a recomendation to their freinds and family. As these gift cards are redeemed you will introduce your business to these new customers.

Secondly, a gift card sale is a “Cash Advance” for the possiblity of a future sale. You can use this cash advance as you like. For example to re-invest in inventory, advertising for your business, overhead expenses, ect. The greatest bennefit is that it is interest free money.

Thirdly, is the profit you will receive from “Breakage”. Breakage is value of the gift cards which are never redeemed. Most times the full-value of the gift card is not redeemed and many times the gift card will neverr be redeemed at all. A conservative estimate would be 15% of all gift card sales are never redeemed. Keep in mind, that is pure profit.

Many gift card programs vary in cost including statement fees, transaction fees, and discount rates. We offer the Valutec Jumpstart Program, which highlights a Flat Fee of $39 with includes 100 Free Crads, no transaction fees, and no discount rate. We feel our giftcard program is the most cost effective on the market today. We also offer programs for larger businesses doing high volume gift card sales.

Call us today to discuss your gift card needs.
