The current economic cycle is going to be two-fold, as current businesses struggle to survive, some will not survive and go out-of-business. Look for a company that offers a dedicated account manager that is available to answer your questions and get any issues resolved quickly. Lastly, look for Free Equipment, Value-Added Programs, & Incentive Bonuses.
Next is the honesty factor, always be 100% honest with your client. Alway’s under promise and over deliver when it comes to dealing with a business owner. Most seasoned business owners will see right through you, if you are promising them the moon. If you are not 100% sure of something, don’t make something up to hide your ignornce, but simply say “Humm, I’m not 100% sure of that, let me get the facts and I’ll get back to you”. Lastly, offer an honest ”Unique Selling Proposition”, that will set you apart from the competition.
In conclusion, merchant account sales can be an extremely lucrative career with the potenial for a six figure income, but you need to put your mind to it, then take action,.action, action. Pound the pavement daily with a fearless “Can Do” attitude and partner with a “Winning Team”. You can succeed it you plan you work and then of course, Work Your Plan !!!!
